Lou is a Baltimore native. He took an interest in music at a young age and first took guitar lessons. At the age of 7 he started piano lessons and later sang in the local choir. While in high school Lou began to perform locally and continued in college. He kept active playing around the Baltimore/Washington area until 1998. Lou moved to New York and became an active member of the music scene in NYC from 1999-2023. Lou is now living in North Carolina and currently performs and teaches near Chapel Hill.
